Help shape our new disaster workshops for people with disability, carers and support workers
We’re co-designing a new series of workshops to support carers, disability support workers, and anyone supporting people living with disabilities and mobility challenges — helping them feel more prepared for, and confident in responding to, future disasters.
This project has grown from earlier conversations with community members, who highlighted just how vital this area is. Now we’re taking it further — and we’d love your voice in the mix.
Whether you’ve lived it, worked in it, or supported someone through it, your insights will help us shape practical, inclusive workshops that actually meet people where they are.
We’re hosting a short online consultation session and would love you to be part of it:
Tuesday 20th May
5:00 – 6:00 pm
RSVP HERE
Join via Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86552679327
During the session, we’ll:
Explore the biggest gaps in disaster preparedness for people with disability/mobility challenges, carers and disability/support workers
Hear your ideas for what practical skills, resources, and knowledge are most needed
Co-design workshops that are relevant, inclusive, and grounded in lived experience
Can't make it? No worries, you can still share your thoughts! Just fill out this form, or email us and we’ll arrange a phone chat or take your ideas in writing.
Your input will help shape the workshops Plan C delivers across the Northern Rivers later this year, ensuring they’re tailored to the people who need them most.
