Surviving Disasters at Byron Community College
A group of Year 10 and 11 students from Byron Community College recently spent a day diving into disaster preparedness with Plan C. This hands-on workshop gave students practical tools to think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and support their communities in times of crisis. It’s a powerful addition to their Certificate II in Pathways to Employment, which already includes first aid and bushcraft. Together, these skills are helping young people build confidence, capability, and readiness for whatever life throws their way.
