QLD Psychological First Aid for Youth
As part of our growing work supporting young people to face life’s challenges with confidence and care, we’re excited to share a new project that will happen throughout November in Queensland — Youth Psychological First Aid (PFA) training in Queensland.
We know how many young people are already supporting friends, classmates and even family members through tough times, and how little training or guidance they often receive. This new program is designed to gently build confidence, awareness, and simple, practical skills that help young people be there for others (and themselves) during and after crises.
Together with Thriving Kids Queensland, PCYC Queensland, and Headspace Queensland, we’re planning a series of workshops in November, delivered by trained facilitators using a youth-friendly approach. It’s trauma-aware, strengths-based, and filled with real tools and conversations that matter.
We’ll share more soon, but for now we’re just really proud to be walking alongside young people in this space.
