Andrew Russell

Board Member

Andrew is passionate about place based resilience and strengthening communities and their connections. He plays active roles in a number of community organisations including: founding member and co-Chair of Minyon Resilience Network; Secretary of the Byron CHUBS (Community Hubs); Secretary of the Repentance Creek Public Hall and a firefighter and Secretary of the Rosebank RFS.

During his career Andrew specialised in supporting organisations and leaders to develop and implement lasting transformational change. As founder and Executive Director of Actrua Performance Cultures for 22 years, he led a team that delivered safety, culture and leadership programs for organisations across 26 countries.

Andrew has studied at Harvard University and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He lives in Repentance Creek with his wife, Lesley-Anne and is a director of their family foundation.

His two adult children and five grandchildren also live in the Northern Rivers.
