Remember those two award nominations we shared in our last newsletter? Well, we have some lovely news to report!
Plan C received Highly Commended in the Outstanding Community Organisation category at the Northern Rivers Business Awards, while our Surviving Disasters youth program was recognised as a finalist in the NSW Resilient Australia Awards.
A big congratulations to Social Futures, which took out the Outstanding Community Organisation award, and to our friends at Resilient Uki who won the NSW Community Award at the Resilient Australia Awards, and Resilient Lismore who received Highly Commended in the same category.
While it's wonderful to have our work acknowledged, we're also mindful of the countless community groups, organisations and volunteers doing extraordinary things without ever receiving formal recognition.
These achievements reflect the collective efforts of our team, partners, supporters and the communities we work alongside.
