Community resilience in action at Shedding, Mullumbimby
What a crew.
The wonderful team at Shedding Community Workshop in Mullumbimby just did Day 3 of the disaster resilience portion of our CCR training with our awesome facilitators, Jean and Mel.
Together the group has been exploring what disasters really look like in our region and building practical skills to support their communities when it matters most.
One participant shared:
"Every piece of information was vital and inspiring to ensuring the safety of community."
In a couple of weeks they'll come back together to complete Psychological First Aid and First Aid, continuing their journey as Community Carers and Responders.
