October: Starting the conversation: Disaster planning for community members with support needs and carers
Plan C warmly invites all carers, support workers and people living with a disability to
join us for an inclusive, practical workshop designed to start the conversation on
disaster preparedness. In each session, participants will:
Identify their individual risks when preparing for bushfires, floods, and
heatwaves
Learn actions they can take to ensure their safety
Explore what to do when deciding to STAY or GO in a disaster
Discover practical resources to help develop a personalised emergency action plan

This workshop is a welcoming space to share experiences, ask questions, and gain
confidence in preparing for future emergencies.
Morning tea will be provided along with opportunities for connection and community
building.
